4.15pm: Spot’s 30th Birthday Party. For Spot fans we have lots of fun activities to celebrate Spot’s birthday – storytime, colouring and cake! This is a FREE event but booking essential. Ages 2 - 5.
March Events
Mother’s Day Competition
We are holding our popular colouring competition again this year with a chance to win a lovely goodie bag for you and your Mum! Call in to the store for your colouring sheet and return it to us by 5pm on Friday 12th March.
There will be 2 age categories: 2–5 and 6–11. The winners will be able to collect their bags on Saturday 13th March in time for Mothering Sunday!

4.15pm: Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. To celebrate the release of the long-awaited Alice in Wonderland film we are holding our very own Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and craft event! Come along and make your own mad hat, as well as a drink and cake to enjoy afterwards. This is a FREE event, but booking is essential. Ages 5 - 8.
Independent Booksellers Week 2009
Last June we held our very first ‘Independent Booksellers Week’ and hosted seven amazing events. Although thoroughly exhausted by Sunday, we had a fantastic week and hope that those of you who came along enjoyed it as much as we did!
