Independent Booksellers Week 2010
Building on our hugely successful week last June we have a fabulous line up of events to celebrate independent bookshops!
Monday 14th June 2010
4.15pm. Doodle Day at the Golden Treasury - FREE EVENT. Come and join in with a huge drawing session and be part of Southfields longest doodle!
Wednesday 16th June 2010
4.15pm. London Adventure Walks - FREE EVENT for 5–10 year olds. Authors Becky Jones and Clare Lewis will be running a fun and informative event about things to do when out and about in the capital. A quiz, leaf rubbing, memory games and many other cheap and cheerful ideas for days out in London.

Doors open at 7pm for 7.15pm start - tickets £2 (redeemable against either book purchased on the night)
Local History Evening with Neil Robson and Peter De Loriol. Join us for a glass of wine and listen to these local history experts reveal fascinating facts about our local area. Does anyone know which wife of a famous U.S. president went to school in Southfields? Come and discover this and other amazing nuggets of information about Southfields and the surrounding area.

11am: Flossie Crumbs storytime and cookie decorating event - tickets £2 (redeemable against the book on the day)
Helen will read her new book Flossie Crumbs The Enchanted Cookie Tree (published Sept 2010) and will then hold a cookie decorating masterclass. A perfect event for fathers and their children. Also, enter the Flossie Crumbs colouring competition.
