The Largest Independent Children's Bookshop in London
The Golden Treasury bookshop was opened in 1995 from a desire to provide the best in children's books to local children and families in Wandsworth, south London. The business has grown over the years and the Southfields-located bookshop (address) is now triple the size of the original, and one of the largest and best regarded independent children's book specialists in Britain.
The focus is very much on providing expert knowledge and a high level of customer service. Our booksellers read widely and can be relied upon to give helpful advice and recommendations. They also contribute book reviews of books about to be published, or recently published.
Books…
The stock range extends from pregnancy and childcare titles, through to early years and on to teenagers. For adults we have a carefully chosen mix of prize-winning titles, non-fiction and cookery. Any book not in stock can be ordered and is generally available within a few days. Exclusive signed copies are also often available.
Our extensive Home Learning section includes books up to Common Entrance level and we are delighted to announce that we are the new sole London stockist for Galore Park 
ISEB titles.
Our first publishing venture is a new edition of Neil Robson's Roomy Villas price £6.99. Local author Neil gives the fascinating history of the Grid from the time when Southfields was only meadows, sheep and a railway line!
Book Character Toys and Games
We stock a range of book-related character toys including Hungry Caterpillar, Elmer and Tintin. We also have Orchard Toys, Zoobookoo, the fabulous Crocodile Creek range from USA and the must-have travel accessory for your child – TRUNKI suitcases. These toys and games can all be supplied by post to customers anywhere in the UK.
Events at the Bookshop
The bookshop boasts an exciting events programme and customers can receive regular emails about upcoming events. Highlights this past year have included author visits from Michelle Paver, Eileen Browne, Jamie Rix and Caroline Lawrence.
